If you are a member and you want to get into the space when there is no one else there, how do you get in? I’ve looked around this discourse thing, which deosn’t seem to have even the most rudimentary search facility. but it’s not possible to tell how to gain entry to the space. Please put a link here and a link on the SLMS homepage and make it so that when I Google “How do I get into the South London Makerspace?” the first thing that comes up is instructions on how to get into the Makerspace.
I came up to London today to dig out my PET vintage computer that someone at SLMS wanted to borrow. I went down to the arch at Herne Hill this afternoon and there was a button labelled with an up arrow that looked as though it might open the door, but it seems to be disconnected, i.e it didn’t do anything when I pressed it. I didn’t leave the computer outside in case it gets nicked. Please, if you’re going to respond indicating that you know a way of me getting in, please, don’t tease me and tell me it’s listed somewhere else or tell me that you can get in though I can’t - I know that!, but please go to the trouble of telling me precisely what I have to do and what anyone else has to do in order to get into the Makerspace. Thanks! I’m going back to the country shortly, so I’ll leave the Pet computer at my house in Streatham - but I’ll provide no instructions on how you might pick it up until I have instructions on how to enter the Makerspace at Herne Hill. So there!
