Electronics night request
It’s that because my screws are coming loose already?
Think of the adoring public, the spectators. They won’t know who to cheer on. The bookies won’t know what odds to write.
okay then
i suppose one way to solve the problem with the buzzers we found yesterday is to have two boards. independent of each other.
is that possibly?
I managed to sort out the buzzer. Shall I bring it down on Thursday to wire up?
There is one in the game (Arduino powered with two leds to show which player lost) but I think there may be some specification changes afoot. How’s it going @boldaslove ? Do I need to bring my programmer on Thursday?
Courty
You guys can make any adjustments you like.
Go for it.
The basics are there.
Feel free to tweak as you like.
Anyone got a pic of the tournament winner?
Anyone got an idea for what to do with the buzzer game now?
Disassemble?
Can we do anything useful with the parts?
@courty feel free to take the bread board etc back.
Can we some how flat pack it ? It would be good to keep it for other events or event open nights ?
But, If you’re disassembling it I will have the board back as it’s out of another kit I have here…
Courty
might be good to flat-pack and keep for other events of some description.
Did you see the pics on Flickr? Though I’m not sure if there’s one of me holding the glorious trophy aloft, vine leaves being wafted and grapes proffered… probably for the best, eh =]
I’ve had the idle thought that the “Buzz Wire” challenge should be an annual thing… but keeping it fresh is entirely the fun. Like in ten years time it’s got all sorts of heath robinson additions, or there’s something that involves buzzing and wire but it’s nothing like this. Aaaaand maybe that’s the price of winning… (retract! retract!)
Okay. I’ll sort something out.
We have to do it again next year so the trophy can be passed on and other names added!!
