Could you bring the addressable LED strip, please?
Daniel are you there tonight?
will do ! its in the box…
I’ve got some addressable single leds too if you want to play with those as well ?
Courty
Planning on being there albeit dripping wet!
Addressable singles!? You are pulling my leg Mr Court!
ok same. Gonna ask you a question will direct message you. Cheers
Nope… you can daisy chain them as you want that way !
Courty
Ok. Nice one. I’ll give it a go snow allowing!
is there snow?!
its just started snowing here (Bromley, Kent) … will keep an eye on it !
Courty
there’s presumably some form of ‘thing of the internet’ that could do that
https://thingspeak.com/channels/32142
Rebooted the home weather station this morning just so I could gather the data of the snow arriving.
Temp and Pressure dropping, classic signs…
Would you have expected anything less ?
Courty
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow… thanks @Courty for bringing the LED strip. It’s running (will return next Thursday!) on @StudioNelle 's sign prototype :

@joeatkin2 the datasheet you requested and the product page to boot.
This is for the green board. The red one I believe follows the same pinout.
@StudioNelle I managed to bake the sourdough bread in time for communal breakfast!
Great work… when I left at ~11:30, that was a piece of wood and an LED strip laying on the bench !! looks great.
Love that library for the LED’s but if you want more animation styles and a bit more control, look for FastLED.h
BIt more complex to work but uses colour pallets and fast memory swaps to do all sorts of tricks.
Courty
P.S. the Sour bread looks good !
Thanks! Notes to self for next Thursday:
