Electronics tonight. Not going to make it tonight. Been very busy at work today and feeling it.

Loads of interest in the new micro laser cutter / engraver. Load of fun engraving all sorts of things (that’s an standard iPhone 6 in it !)

And the braking for the table saw was finalised and tested. Now onto a production version…

Apart from that, we just sat around and drank tea…

What will it cut? Or is it mostly engraving?

Doesn’t appear to have much laser protection?

Mostly engraving as the included software is picture based but will cut thin stuff like card and paper. The engraving on ply is quite deep and looks very smooth + it has a raster mode that etches photos onto items.

@Dermot, it doesn’t have any real protection other than a cheap pair of green lens glasses
