Thanks to @Gawain for laser cutting the acrylic brush holder, and @Jonty_Bottomley for various woodtech help in making my latest functional driftwood creation. The idea is to use driftwood as close to its found state as possible, without altering it too much. I cut a slot for the razor, but that was the only alteration. Driftwood is too light to serve as a stable base unless the piece is very large, so I bought on offcut of European oak and left it in a fairly natural state.
