Donation - Ceramic 3d printer

I’ve bought a ceramic 3d printer a while ago and it hasn’t been easy to create projects in a household environment especially when the water system isn’t designed as a ceramic studio.

I have been considering to donate this Tronxy Moore 2 PRO as I am aware that a clay 3d printer has been on the wishing list for the Makerspace a while, and I apologize for not initiating this discussion earlier because all the stuffs going on in life. I thought it would be more meaningful to share this piece of machine to the public and use it together in a more suitable environment.

The machine itself is a typical FDM style 3d printer with a 250x250 base and a tool head that extrudes clay.

The loading process could get a bit messy and it’s better to be done in the ceramic space.
As long as the loaded cartridge is clean. the printing could be done somewhere else.
The finished piece should be stored in the ceramic space.

Upon arrival I’ll bring the 3d printer, and all essential tools for preparing and cleaning in another box.

Note: Compare to Bambu Lab 3d printers, this machines is quite primal in it’s technology. There is no automatic leveling, no pre-made printing profiles, etc. It is essential to have thorough understandings on both FDM 3d printers and ceramic materials to use a ceramic 3d printer properly.

Let me know if you have any thoughts :>

Super cool donation! I’ll tag @CeramicsTechs for better visibility and they can assess whether we have room for it…

It is a great machine and you are not the first to want to donate /loan their Ceramics 3d printer. As the ceramics area is so small we do not have space within the area itself. Maybe @3dtechs have the space. I am happy to discuss possibilities.
