Does anybody have a Plastic Welding machine?

Hello :D.

An armrest of my chair that i use at my desk has broke.
I was wondering if anybody has something like a plastic welding machine i think i can fix it with it.

I only need it for maybe 20 minutes so i can fix the part. i can bring the part to the space and we can do it there. I haven’t use one before either

Thank you.

Not sure how it’s broken or what kind of plastic your chair is made from, but what about two-part epoxy? I feel like that would spread and have better surface area to hold it together much better, no?

It might work as well i wasn’t sure that the 2 part epoxy will hold but i might try that first. I thought the heating stuff worked maybe better cause it’s steel

I mean it might not look great but I use a cheap soldering iron to weld multipart 3d prints together.
