Do we have a pyrography pen/tool at the space? I had a friend who used a soldering iron, but I wouldn’t want to risk damaging the spaces soldering irons.
Looking to burn a message into some thin cylindrical wood. Wouldn’t want to laser cut in case it wobbles, and I’d quite like it to look handmade anyway.
There’s a not very good soldering iron to the right of the 3d printers that I brought in for putting threaded inserts into prints. Currently has a modified blunt tip on it but I believe there are some other tips on the same small set of shelves by the printers
Hey Oscar, I actually have a pyrography pen at home, I’m not at the makerspace until 2nd Jan but I could bring it in for you then? It has loads of different heads, adjustable temp, it’s a pretty good one
