Do we have a pyrography pen?

Do we have a pyrography pen/tool at the space? I had a friend who used a soldering iron, but I wouldn’t want to risk damaging the spaces soldering irons.

Looking to burn a message into some thin cylindrical wood. Wouldn’t want to laser cut in case it wobbles, and I’d quite like it to look handmade anyway.

I don’t see one listed here.

There were some cheap soldering irons that can be used for wood burning, but not sure where they are kept…

I have seen 2 of them. But not sure where they are now. :woman_detective:

There’s a not very good soldering iron to the right of the 3d printers that I brought in for putting threaded inserts into prints. Currently has a modified blunt tip on it but I believe there are some other tips on the same small set of shelves by the printers

Apparently we have this monster, feel free to use it, its in the messy room. Under the seig

Hey Oscar, I actually have a pyrography pen at home, I’m not at the makerspace until 2nd Jan but I could bring it in for you then? It has loads of different heads, adjustable temp, it’s a pretty good one
