Hi,
Let me know when you are around and we’ll go through some procedures. If you used a sawing machine before and you are confident enough to use it without braking it you do not need an induction. I just need to go through some rules and health and safety procedures in the space.
Kind Regards,
Sophia.
i finish work in central london at 5pm so can jump on the victoria line to come down, any day this week baring thursday or friday i’m free if any of those work for you
How about Tomorrow?
Hey Sophia, I’d also love to be introduced to the textiles area, I’ve got experience on a sewing machine, though I have my own at home for the occasional bits of sewing that I do! I can’t do tomorrow but if you’re around any other times this week perhaps? If not then no worries, I hope you don’t mind me adding to this thread!
today is good with me. i’ll be over around 6pm
i presume i can also sort out my fob etc as well when i get there?
I am today when are you in the space ?
Lovely I’ll see you at 6
Will you be in on Friday morning at all?
Apologies got held up at work. Should be leaving soon, hope that’s okay
I’m around 15 min away see you soon
Hi,
Does anyone know the person that is in charge of the CNC induction?
Hi Mia,
You need to sign up for the mini CNC induction unless you’ve already had it.
Navigate to inductions > mini CNC inductions and put your discourse name at the bottom of the list .
Hi Joel,
Thank you for your reply.
I currently own a CNC with a 4 head spindles, along with my own VCarve Pro software, and I’m experienced in using it. I’ll review the video on the platform to see whether the post-processor differs from mine, as I am using the NC Studio processor.
Regards,
Thomas
