Good morning! Was running a series of jobs for a few hours on the Isel Desktop MiniCNC, and in the last hour the milling motor stopped spinning. Homing/Jogging works fine, but the motor just wouldn’t spin. Has anyone run into this issue before? How would one go about troubleshooting/repairing?

Were there any unusual sounds right before this happened?
What material were you cutting?
What bit were you using?
What pass depth? What feed rate and RPM?
Good morning Joel, there weren’t any unusual sounds before it stopped.
I was cutting this PU600 material designed for CNCing
I was using the T23 6MM 4 FL Bit:
-Pass depth / stepdown: 3.00 mm
-Feed rate: 960 mm/min
-Spindle speed: 19,000 RPM
This is working now.

It’s the same as the movement error in the trouble shooting in the docs just looks different.
To fix:
Power on Linux so the cover can be opened.
While cover opened, turn off both switches at wall, light should go off in the CNC.
Then by hand move the bed into a central position.
Move the burgundy CNC motor panel into the centre.
Move the CNC router down so it’s close to the bed.
Then close the lid, turn on the power.
Wait for everything to boot up, then you should be able to home and start a job with no issue

I saw it being used Saturday, so I assume so.
But the CNC techs will know more.
