I need to run a dehumidifier in a room in my house for the next month. Does anybody have any recommendation for buying one, or at least what to avoid – it’ll probably be Gumtree as this is a one-off use. Or perhaps even one I could borrow?

Makerspace bought, but now the lining’s in and arch water gets sent outside, it’s not really needed. Fine by me to borrow it.

De-snuged, got home, refrigerants settled overnight, now pulling water out the air. Great.

Errant post – this was returned a month (or two?) ago. Much thanks. I thought I’d posted to say so at the time (I certainly started writing it…). It does indeed do the job, though can’t entirely be trusted not to leak if using the internal container. IIRC it didn’t overflow, the drops didn’t fall out the end of the moulded tube, but instead ran along the outside and fell outside of the container.
