Dear metalshop user,
Leaving the air die grinder in this condition is genuinely dangerous.
This tool has no interlocking handle, and when it’s still connected to the air hose, even a slight nudge can activate it. Combined with the very sharp carbide burr that was left on it, you can appreciate how easily someone could get hurt.
Please tidy up after yourself — or at the absolute minimum, disconnect the tool as soon as you finish using it.
In fact, I strongly recommend disconnecting it even if you plan to step away for only a moment.
