Date: 29 April
Time: 18:30 to 21:30
Cost: Obligatory donation (you have to donate something, but the amount is up to you)
Who can attend: The course is open to all members
Pre-requisites: No previous inductions or Inkscape experience required
What to bring: We will be using the makerspace laptops, so no need to bring your own.
Inkscape is a really useful tool for 2D design, much easier to use than CAD.
I use and teach it rather than Illustrator because it is free!
Inkscape is a general design tool, but the course will focus on specific applications appropriate for the SLMS:
Laser cutting
Vinyl cutting
Rug tufting
Screen printing

Hi I’d love to take part!
If you can PM me a high level overview of the “extra steps” I’ll try to include them in the course.
