Combat robot workshop proposal

As I stated in my induction and introduction here, I would like to do an antweight combat robot workshop sometime soon - possibly next month. This is because I’ve some people being interested in this subject and possibly one or two members being builders themselves.

Though I have some things in mind, such as education (which will include an introduction on radio control and components such as speed controllers, battery types, etc. as well as building cardboard robots) or fun activities (such as matches, football and sumo), what would anyone interested in this would like to see from this workshop? I would like to hear some input or feedback.

If there’s anyone who is willing to buy components for themselves to start making or even buying their own antweight robots, here are a couple of links.

This looks interesting
I’d certainly be interested in the workshop, but don’t have time to make one at the moment.
Thank you

I am so in.

I tell you what, why don’t you use the electronics nights for the workshop? we would be happy to help you host it .

I am interested. Not a fan of combat robot, but I am interested in mobile robotics in general, and always facinated with mini maze robots
