Mark, it looks shiny and new and should be ‘Full of Beans’.

Will get some from the many annoying but good sometimes ‘tiny supermarkets which are called local’ tomorrow. I will really try to get to ‘Monmouth Street’ or Borough market to get other quality flavours.

As a matter of course, I’d love to know how to fully steralise the coffee maker? It’s not dirty by any means but it’s worked hard (something like 10,000 cupsa coffee you say, really that much, did I hear that right)? Crikey.

It’s is a bonus to Maker Space - coffee made instantly from ground beans is abitgood.com.
I’ve had lots of cups of coffee it made for me that were much better than anything locally but my OCD is latent and always on the lookout for something to stress about!

Take it apart to clean it well and know how to look after it properly from now on is what I’d like. Just like everything else in the space, it needs to be cared for properly.

It’s true that good water makes everything taste purer and that good coffee is essential to life (ad tea sometimes too), let’s know what to do to ensure it’s consistent pleasure.

Btw, thank you for gifting it to us!

it has a preset cleaning cycle depending on how often it is used. I have always used these https://www.amazon.co.uk/Jura-Cleaning-Tablets-tub-25/dp/B0056D0QTG

which clean out the internals.

then it also has a decalcifying cycle which again the timing is set on the hardness of the water and amount used

these are he ones i have used before http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/151182358041?lpid=122&chn=ps&adgroupid=40176066202&rlsatarget=pla-279594453345&adtype=pla&poi=&googleloc=1006886&device=c&campaignid=738210941&crdt=0

not sure if we have the budget to order these but this is the best way to keep it clean and serviced and running hopefully for another 10000 cups

Mmm, the tabs aren’t cheap. They’re essential tho.
It’s hard to know if other cheaper brands are as good as these ones are.

How about all of us pitching in to buy cleaning and de-scaleing products. Would work out bout £1 a month. Ok just made that number up but you know what I mean.
