Can I talk to anyone about Screen Printing?

Tags: #<Tag:0x00007fa495c2b168>

I was inducted on to the screen printing equipment last year, however, I’ve not actually attempted to do this by myself yet. I know the general order of things but forgotten the details. i.e. the amount of time to cure in uv box, etc.

Could I chat with someone to go over the details before I attempt a small project that I would like to do?

Thanks

I have the same issue with the screen printer and laser cutter.

The advice given to me was to ‘just do it’ and people will probably help you.

Lasercutter,really

When are you around?

I’m around this weekend if you are around

I am at the moment

Would you be around later today? Late afternoon? Or would you be in the space tomorrow?

Thanks

I’ll be around all day today

Thanks, I’ll come down later. I’m running my CoderDojo coding club today. I’ll aim to come down about 5.

@Howard I had a bit of a disaster! When exposing the image, I could smell some burning. I looked at the light and the plastic sheet on top was melting and it has melted onto the glass. I’ve used a glass scraper to get the melted sheet off the glass.

I’m going to leave the exposing for now.

That’s weird, it shouldn’t do that

I believe @Stuart was successful in the end!

When I say glass, I mean, the glass on the light.

After, I decided to not give up and expose it without the film sheet and it worked.

Good. The light is fine by itself I just put the gel on so it wasn’t do blinding. It shouldn’t melt though.
