I’m going to help a friend build a wardrobe (Fitted) in his house. He wants a shiny/glossy finish, how does one go about this? Looking online it seems there is self adhesive stuff that you stick on the wood. Is this the best or only method?
Buy pre-finished MDF?
If it close enough to an existing IKEA design that you can adapt it?
Better yet, use wood… however if it’s just a painted finish, you can paint MDF…
I think pre-finished MDF will be the way. He doesn’t want it painted, I don’t know the correct name of the material, I will find it 
Probably acrylic. Will be impossible to get the finish to go round a corner well, of course.
