Broken wood turning gouge

Wasn’t trying to be arsey, wrongly assumed it was common knowledge as it has been discussed in previous ‘cleaning up after yourself’ topics on discourse. It’s my go-to for clearing up wood shavings. So long as they end up in the bin it’s all good.

I had a look yesterday. It is one of @matt s tools not the spaces. It’s a small spindle gouge made by coronet who are now out of business. I recommend replacing with same size gouge by Robert Sorby or Henry Taylor. I think HT is available from axeminster

Yeah I noticed this when I emptied the wheelie bin on Thursday. Was going to seek input from @woodtechs re. a fix. Would probably be better to cut the hose back then do a proper joint.

It has been noted: if there’s enough hose we will do a proper joint but at minimum I’ll take a look at it and patch tonight if I can.
