Hello! One of the Rivet presses just fell apart? I don’t think I am the Hulk, but all the same a metal thing just crumbled in my hands.
Let me know how I can help fix it, but I suspect this is beyond glue?

Oh, it seems to have broken on a stress point, it feels like there should be at least another anchor point on the other side? otherwise like this it’s basically putting pressure exactly were it broke, interesting.
It might work, if holes are drilled through the base of the main part and that is also securely bolted to the wood.
But it might be too flexible.
I would call that a write-off. It’s cast iron and looks to have split at quite a large section of the mount, I reckon there’s a lot more force applied to that than you think and I don’t think bolting down the remaining part will be a long lasting solution. Unfortunately cast iron is a pain to weld and drilling additional holes may compromise what structural integrity it has left. We can still try to salvage it since there’s nothing to lose.
These rivet press designs seem quite cheap. There’s one on Amazon for £46 and according to the photos in the reviews, break in the same place each time.
