Only if there’s someone who’s confident they can fix it, though just one isn’t so useful unless it’s for a photo booth. What model is it, any accessories?

I’ve not had a chance to look at it yet, but it’s possibly just old caps as it’s an old unit…

No burning smell has a bulb, no other accessories.

I will have a look at it , shood be simple

If folks agree to having it in the first place.

I have been meaning to do more electronics , will look forward to doing it

That’s a big one! Bit overkill for us maybe, is replacing the caps fairly trivial? All in all personally not fussed but won’t stop anyone else.

I’ll try and fit it in my back pack.

If it’s a Bowen’s it should be fully serviceable. Top work @unknowndomain !

The hard part on this is the several thousand volts in the storage and trigger circuits. This defo comes under the no lone working policy !!

Definitely only HV experienced people to fix it if it is not working properly

May just need new fuse or flash tube.
Flash tubes are a bit pricey though but worth taking a look

Isn’t that the equivalent of several megawatts/sec ?!
