Board Game Night -Tuesday 19th Nov

We’re trying a night of board games. Come join us! Tuesday the 19th. If it goes well it will be a regular thing.

Bring a game you’d like to play or don’t! I’m sure we will have enough. Feeling shy? Bring a friend. The only thing not to bring is Monopoly, because it’s shit.

I’ll be bringing some social deduction games (Mostly ones where you call your friends liars) and some co-op games.

Suggestion - Change the title to something like “Board Game Night -Tuesday 19th Nov” - Might get people’s attention.

I’ll bring some games…and if i have time to get my Ducks in a row…maybe run a TTRPG…

@Samuel_Pinney check this thread and see if tagging some names from there would help attendance

I know at least a couple of people who want to come (and were part of the conception) who haven’t added their names yet.

Giving this a little bump. I’ll bring a selection of stuff but feel free to bring any games you love.

This is what I’m bringing. I’ve gone for stuff that is easy to pick up and works with a range of people.

Hi Samuel,

Nice selection! I would love to join tonight but have family visiting whom I need to host sadly!

I hope you have a great evening and will keep my fingers crossed you’re up for another one soon

Here are some I can offer for next time. Azul is my favourite at the moment!

(Pls don’t judge me for monopoly haha)

Excellent stuff apart from Monopoly of course!

If tonight is a success I’m sure we will do more.

That was loads of fun! Thanks to everyone who came.
We did Dobble (absolute chaos)
Welcome to the Dungeon (@hernehillier won)
And then played some Pandemic. We thought we were doing brilliantly and then we ran out of time. Sorry humanity

Will do again, probably once a month?

Good times! Hopefully we’ve learned the hard lessons for the next pandemic.
