Blocked clay trap

Hi, the clay trap at the sink is blocked, it started to flood a little bit. So I mopped up and tried to clean up without using more water - apologies for the objectively mid quality cleaning.

Hey mate — thanks for letting us know. Is it deffo blocked as we cleaned it up & removed loads of excess slip yesterday? Might it be the drain valve on the right of the compartment is not tight enough?

I was in to check today, I think the pipe running out of the trap is full of silt or similar? I didn’t want to take it apart but reaching in that was my take

Hi mate,

Took the sink and clay capture apart this evening and did some investigating. In short, you’re right. Looks like there’s a blockage further down the pipeline, behind the wall. We’ve taken the decision to close the workshop until we get it sorted — hopefully it won’t be too long.
