Black Friday Deals?

I was hoping we could collect some genuine discounts / deals for Black Friday in this thread.

I’m hoping to find a decent discount to grow my Makita collection. Will update if / when I find anything notable.

I have taken advantage of the 50% discount on the Affinity suite.

For those unfamiliar it’s a competitor to the Adobe suite, with equivalents for Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. I’ve been using their free trial for the last six months following the recommendation of @Martyn_Thomas in another post.

I’ve been pretty pleased so far. The keyboard shortcuts are pretty esoteric, and I’ve found it difficult to adapt to where tool / settings are hidden, but overall a success!

If you’re making do with open source tools (I have come from GIMP and Inkscape) but would like a commercial offering that is a little more polished, it’s worth a look!

P.S. I’ve also struggled to Google for specific tips. There is a lot of old content for previous versions, much of which state that feature XYZ is not available, which leads to disappointment until I find out that the post is ancient and said feature is actually available in their 2.x (latest) version.

These headphones are incredible for noise cancelling, very good sound quality as well. I’ve had the mk1, and I’m currently using the MK3. Even under daily use they last years and years. This price is insane.

That is a good price…

If you have never used camelcamelcamel its a good way to see if you are actually getting a good deal on Amazon since they change the prices so quickly…

Ha! Glad to have it validated with data. They really are superb for working in noisy environments without distractions. I’d buy one if I didn’t have a pair of perfectly good Xm3s.
