Hello,
I glued together some oak parqet to build a panel, which is 1600x800mm, and now I woul like to sand it.
Ideally I would like to drum sand it, to help straighten up some imperfections, but the one at MS is not wide enough.
The orbital sander is out of use, I’ve been told.
Could anyone recommend a place I could bring it to drum sand it (paying, of course).
Alternatively do we know when the orbital sander will be fixed?

You could try Bloqs or Blackhorse workshop. Unfortunately I couldn’t tell from their website what machines they have so you’ll have to email or call them.
There’s a joiners I walked past the other day right at the end of the arches, next to the road.
Could ask them if they’ve got a bigger drum sander

I think Bloqs and Blackhorse are far up north London and quite a mission to reach.
The small joinery under the arches, I don’t think has a drum sander.
There is a bigger one on Croxted Road (F&E Joinery), just after the bridge from us, which I am meant to stop by and ask for days but I’ve seen it open only once. In fact, I just tried to call them and I’ve been told to call back in the afternoon as they are not in right now. 
I ended up with F&E Joinery.
