I have a cutting board project that I’d rather not spend several hours sanding. I’ve just realized it doesn’t fit the mini CNC… @BigCNCers Would a kind soul be willing to help a person out? I just need to mill both slides and cut a grove around the edge. I have the vcarve file, just no training on the big boy.
I can help if you want i was going to pop in in the afternoon today after work.

Yay! I’ll actually be there around from around 18h. There is a woodshop induction but I guess we can work around it?
yeah i think it shouldn’t be an issue it’s only the extraction that’s really loud we’ll deal with it no problem I should be there at 18:30ish

only used vcarv for anything i don’t know how to use the fusion 360 thingy i haven’t tried yet tbh maybe u can show me as well
Still trying to figure it out myself… I had the model in vcarve but didn’t find the profile for the machine on the tool page, so I assume it’s Fusion 360 only?

Both machines are setup for Vcarve, there is a Vcarve PC setup there with the correct settings… @CNCtechs can show you…
Also, FYI for all, no storage in the CNC enclosure….

The big cnc page still needs to be updated with the machine settings to setup vcarve at home ( sorry), we will do that as soon as possible. In the meantime you can set you file on vcarve and update the toolpaths in the makerspace pc with the correct tools and machine.
Ps: yes please, NO storage in the enclosure other than the materials used for the machine maintenance. Unless you want to donate your materials for cnc maintenance ( thanks in that case 
)
We need to ensure free movement around the machine all time.
Ps 2: we should have the back of the enclosure free for full sheet ply storage. How is it? Still full of fullness?
Ps 3: I’m ok with overnight ONLY storage if the cut is next day and the above mentioned storage is full. @cnctechs?

It seemed to me as the safest as last time I stored it else where it just disappeared despite having a note on it.

The other day I cut a small piece of wood, left to get a pencil to mark it and a glass of water, and someone had already taken it and was about to cut it in the 2 minutes it took for me to get back…
