Tis the spooky season and I’m thinking of stitching up a last minute costume. I’ve got some experience with a sewing machine but not loads and im a little overwhelmed by the choices in the space.
What machine would people recommend i use to get started?
I would recommend going for one of the Singer Machines. They’re pretty straightforward and if anything isn’t clear there are good tutorial videos on the Tools page (see link above).
The overlockers give a very professional finish but can be a little overwhelming to get set up and can be a bit less forgiving in their operation. Probably overkill for a costume.

I second Em’s advice - The Singer Sewing Machines are easy to use and can face almost anything you throw at them
