Architects drawing stands, foldup tables

Hey
We have a bunch of architects drawing stands in the snug, we are trying to free up some space, for many reasons, one of which is to have an area to temp. store personal projects (@TomN and another person have their projects there are the moment, but would be nice to offer this to others under a time limited/decent system??)
Anyhow, bearing in mind how very very precious space is, do we have a really good reason for keeping this stuff?

thanks

They were my donation originally, way back when; they do make quite versatile working surfaces, as you can make them flat at any height. But with space at a premium and no clear use for them, I don’t see why we have to keep them hanging around. If we decide we want some in the future, they’re easy to come by.

Cool, thinking about the tables as well, we will prob be swimming in them once electronics benches are done, what are our requirements for tables doing fwds…anyone?
that was supposed to be a general post on this thread as opposed to a reply to TomN

Firewood?

Hey, was thinking about these tables the other day and was going to and now do ask if I could purchase one? It is perfect for the mess of a room I call ‘my studio’!

All the bench / tale top surfaces we need in messy are accounted for, I’d happily see them go onto their next home.

They cost us nothing, so it’d be wrong to charge for them!

i might take the other one f its not needed, I will have a look, but if anyone gets to it before me then no worries, Im on a bike so I might procrastinate.

I’ll take a couple of the sturdy fold down tables if they’re not needed.

I think we could keep just one? Just to see if is any use… they are been in the snug for more than one year… a lot of members aren’t even aware of their existence…

Just had a look, there are 3 architects tables, 2 medium and 1 large. One medium is best for my space. Can’t take it out as it’s wedged strong.

Beside them, there’s 1 sturdy fold down table and 1 biggish (dining/office) table without legs Dermot.

Are these like drafting/drawing boards? I reckon I could do with one too if that’s alright!
Cheers
Rob

Yep, two A1 and one A0. I think they’re all missing their parallel motion rulers, but otherwise in good condition.

i would like to put my name in the hat for one of these… I still prefer designing stuff on paper rather than computer!!

quite happy to foster one as well until we get room, i personally think one would be useful in the space

I love paper and computer design, I use both together and they meet well when they are printed out. So good that the architects tables can be used, they are so good to work with!

We’re looking at one of these for the top of the sewing table. Haven’t had a chance to check it properly yet. If we talking about the same thing.
It was suggested to me on another thread.
Are you ok with that if we decide it’s suitable?

Of course!

I’ll only take one if the space doesn’t need it
