I’m just checking if the membership has any @luthiers or people knowledgeable in all things violin? Please DM me if you have a bit of time for some questions … Thanks!

I moved back to Scotland during the pandemic, but play fiddle and currently working on my first violin build - feel free to fire away if you think I might be able to help!

There are quite a few members who make musical instruments. Occasionaly we have a luthier group meeting. Currently I am making Hurdy Gurdys.

I was after specific advice on violins. @Calum has responded amply and I think I have had my questions answered.

Hurdy Gurdy? - wow. That seems like a very advanced thing to build. I will try and catch you at the space and have a quick chat - sounds very interesting!
