Hey all, I’m planning to replace the clutch on my car this weekend in my home garage/driveway.
I’m trying to avoid buying specialised one-time-use tools, so I was wondering if anyone has any of the following I could borrow:
• Clutch alignment tool
• Jack-to-transmission converter
Also, if anyone is up for offering some guidance or being available for a quick call if I get stuck, that would mean a lot. I’ve replaced the alternator and front axle before, so I’m hoping this is within my skill range. just reassuring to know I can reach out if needed
I did consider getting a mechanics to do it, but at the prices they quoted, it almost makes more sense to buy another car!
Thanks in advance for any help or pointers.
