Advice on Cutting a "Staircase" Pattern (Plywood)

I would like to make a display stand with three elevated surfaces that the items being displayed will be presented on. I intend on making this out of 5mm ply, using some softwood to add cross bars (see third image above) to attach the “treads” and “risers” to (borrowing terminology from stair design).

I would like advice on how best to cut the end panels (see second image). I was thinking of using a straight edge and a jigsaw…? Other more general advice on the project welcome too!

If you do it on the big CNC, you can cut 2 pieces from one sheet, so the treads and risers of both are done with a single cut.
