We are putting the multi material upgrade on the Prusa ready to deploy. The upgrade process is being quite slow as we needed to rebuild a lot of the machine. All being said it sounds like the upgrade was a bit of a flop and they have a newer system now. We might upgrade to that In the future or cut our losses and change for another Bambu

ah, man, I took apart my old one a thousand time, I don’t envy you.
Yes, the old multi-material is a mess, the new one is much better, I think you can just print the upgrade if you want.
The prefab upgrade kit was included in the donation, so we just had to upgrade the print head assembly to be compatible with the MMU2S. Thankfully don’t also have to print everything!
@scday94 we were correct in our retrospective assessment that the long wire motor goes back on the print head and the MMU2S has three new motors that were in the box. I’ll swap them back out now 🤦

Ah great thanks, Hope it didn’t take too long! Will have a look at modifiying the shelf tomorrow as well I think does it look like sits going to be friendly to our proposed layout?
