3D print filament question?

@3dtechs or anyone else that knows! I am wanting to 3d print a broken part of my Hoover but as it will be exposed to some friction I am thinking PLA will warp under the heat and we can’t use ABS in the space, right? Do you have any ideas of filament that would be appropriate and can be used in the space?

How about Mark’s favourite PETG?, which is a modification of PET - the plastic bottle material.

Nozzle temperature about 240, bed temperature about 55.

But I would be tempted to first try PLA. If it’s no good you can always reprint in a different material.

agree petg is good, higher bed temp needed …about 85 with dimafix for first layer then drop to 70.

but definately worth trying pla first
