I have about half a spool of basic PLA (not bambu).
I forgot it in the car under the sun for 2 days… dumb move, I know!!!
Did I damage it? or can I still use it? @3dtechs

Pending comments from our in-house expert (I’m trying to reduce her workload) I would say if the filament unwinds freely with zero binding and diameter is still 1.75mm +/- 0.03mm then a test print is in order. I’ll be in this evening and happy to check.
i wont be in this evening unfortunately.
I am planning to do a 3 hour print friday,
for the sake of £13 maybe i should get a new roll? last thing i want is to get to 2 hour 55 min and have it fail…
thoughts?

I’m in the space now but there’s a general tool control problem
Thoughts: do the above checks, do a test print, make a decision, ask a Tech if unsure. If you don’t have time before your big print then buy a new reel, consider also buying a small amount of filament from the SLMS shop (25g / £1) to contribute to nozzle and extruder wear costs. PLA is low wear but not zero and we have a shoestring budget.
Just my thoughts. @Lia ?
