10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY of ARCH NO. 1129

I’d like to bring everyone together (again) for celebrating 10 years of our Makerspace, but this time anniversary of us actually moving into the Arches in Bath Factory in Herne Hill. This is before any works were done!

September it is, polling us all closer to date.

It would be GREAT to have as many original members in the space on that event.

If anyone else wants to take this on, feel free. Unfortunately I do not have capacity for organising events at SLMS currently!

some pointers

  1. make a post and create a poll with dates you can make and can take reaponsibility for setting up/clearing out , check with calendar and directors it is okay to go ahead
  2. agree with directors budget, usually 50-90£ for food (no alcohol)
  3. check with people who want to help and trust them they will do so, but be ready to jump in or have more than one person to do a thing
  4. make a call out for people bringing food and drink as well as slms budget tends to cover basics, members food brings the special touch and elevates the quality big time

Heya!

There is almost always someone there that is willing to give you a tour and show around…

Come by and ask, worst case, there is a brewery next door, so it won’t be a wasted trip!
