Metal U-bend shelf brackets

Hello

i’m keen to make some raw steel metal shelf brackets in the shape of a U bend so that both the bottom and top part of the bracket can hold a scaffold board shelf.

I’m trying to create something like this and wondered who might be able to help me understand where to source the steel from?

They have a branch in Greenwich, so collecting is possible. Others may have better suggestions….

Last time I tried to use Parkers they wanted £500 to deliver inside the congestion charge zone!
