Access to the space

Hello there, I’m John, I have been a member for about a month but haven’t got a key yet. I was wondering whether anybody will be at the space tomorrow late morning, as I was hoping to drop off some materials… Please let me know

It’s unlikely; weekday daytimes are usually very quiet.
If you’re around Wed/Thu morning then Pete will be there opening up for the space hire. You could grab one then. Otherwise, evenings and weekends are your best bet.

Also could you advise what materials this is as we are not officially offering member storage right now because we are limited on space and trying to get ready to do building work.

You just need to get two other Shutter-people to vouch for you.

By the way, how does the vouching process work? Where do the existing shutterers make their vouching known?

Good question!

One way would be for two shutterers to message a trustee about it.

We could come up with something more complex in future?

When the membership/discourse integration happens, we will be able to have a very simple system for identifying shutterers and getting their approvals. Until then its all a bit ad hoc.
