Woodshop Extractor

Hello @woodworkers,

Yesterday the main woodshop dust extractor switch, located above the table saw tool control, was off. It’s unlabeled and not part of the woodshop induction. It seems the most logical approach would be to just keep it on but I’m open to other ideas.

Definitely part of the woodshop induction .

Its in the first section

It does worry me how much other stuff has been randomly removed

Fixed…

Let’s review the woodshop induction and make sure it has the basics covered… it does talk about air filters but says contact woodtechs…

The only thing that should be different is it is now 3 parts and not a marathon.

TBH- I was part of your original induction and didn’t know what that switch did!!

It was definitely in the first draft, under infrastructure health and safety

I don’t doubt it, just don’t remember!

Let’s review whats in there now and add anything critical…

Hopefully the most important peace of safety equipment has not been edited out…

Take a look and let us know what is missing!

Very bad things happen to that

Appreciate the effort taking place on preparing the inductions!
