Woodshop extraction - table and chop saws not connected?

@woodtechs I saw this today, so wondering what the situation is

I believe that the table saw sucks from below, rather than from above now, but I’m unqualified, and this is hearsay half-remembered.

Table saw - as far as I know both and you feel the difference if its not

Chopsaw - as far as I was aware this is out of service ?

I must say that guard on the table saw is one of SLMS’es gems
it quirky nice and works

I have only used the table saw extraction from below.

I’ll be in later this afternoon and will have a look.

the label that was on it (saturday) and that the label appears to have been complied with

I have to confess I did not investigate further if it was working or not

checked last night - the chop saw now does work
