Chonked a pin just right and need to replace the needle in the wimsew industrial machine. I see five tubes of Hax1 needles in various sizes but not sure which are compatible if any. The shank of the broken needle says Organ 16 and there is a tube of Hax1 “100/16” needles.
Any thoughts on spare needles? Thanks!
Hi Neil- I’m afraid I don’t know! I never use the industrial machine - i’d just try to put one in and see if it fits. Home machine have a universal fitting so needles of any brand will fit. I’d have assumed its the same with industrial.
Anyone else know?
I did give that a go with the other needles labelled 16, but seems the diameter is just slightly too big for the industrial. I’ll stop at the sewing store on the way over or amazon if I can’t avoid it.
I’ll go to the Sewing Shop at lunch and see if i can get some advice from Wimsew HQ and report back 
Popped by my local sewing experts and they were stocked up with a good range and knew what would be compatible. I’ll put them in with the rest and label them. Size 14, 16, and 18 with circular shank.
