Who's in the space right now?

@members I’ve updated the Doorbot to Membership System Link/Proxy this evening in the Makerspace to add support for the new Chat feature.

Previously we had #space in Slack, which was used to view door, shutter and laser cutter stuff. That has now been disabled so we are now using a chat channel on discourse instead.

To find it:

  1. Select the chat bubble from the upper right corner next to your avatar…

  2. Click the change room icon…

  3. Select Space Log from the list…

You can now view the list of activity, in future we may link the chat from here to the LED board in the space.

Hi Tom. This looks useful.
The option of space log is greyed out for me at the moment (android phone if relevant).

I don’t think it’s inactive grey, just grey grey :slight_smile:

That said, the chat bit is a bit funky on mobile. The box to write in covers the thread and other such fun things. I’ll try and screenshot a bit later.

Agree the grey is a grey herring.
On my phone, the area you can click on is a bit lower than I was expecting (or perhaps my finger is bigger than I thought). Hence nothing was happening when I tried.

Add - (following Pete’s comment) I think the title “select another chat channel” might be masking the “space log”.
