We want to dismantle our table - help required with bolt type

It’s a new (old) purchase. We are considering customising this in the future but in the mean time we got it into the house by taking the door off but parking moving it further until we can take the top off. Which is where the problems start!

I found what looks to be the exact type of bolt in our table but the hardware shop have no ideas what would be used to remove it. There are 10 of these within a 24mm diameter circle and a little over 22mm deep so a little awkward to get to.

Anyone here have any suggestions or a link to a tool that would get these out easily?

Hope that helps.

They are 4 point bolts so 4 point sockets. They have a fancy name but you would have to ask someone from the Philips head era what it is

You should be able to use a twelve point deep socket

A box spanner should do it and often sold in sets so should get one that fits?

i think they are square head bolts. maybe these?
I think a hex socket might work if they are not really tight.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. After a two week holiday we have tackled taking the table top off. The multi shape tool was to wide to fit within the hole so couldn’t work for us this time but super handy to have!

We did manage to order something that worked and connects to screwdriver that accepts different ends.

We have started the process of stripping the varnish and paint on the legs, we hope to sand and apply a new colour/coating soon. Although the legs and frame do not look as nice as the top so that may be painted again just a different colour!
