Stumbled upon this interesting kickstarter project, its a machine that uses a waterjet and abrasive to cut a wide variety of materials, and can even go through steel apparently. Nothing new about the technology but the cost is supposed to make it much more accessible than before. Looks promising.

It’s very slow, but I can live with that for the price!
i’ve been following this as well - very cool but probably good to see how it goes in the first couple of months to make sure its doesn’t go the way of the Air Towel or Underwater lung !

Im in love!!! Looks like quite a long time before it makes it into the UK.
I’m always wary of kickstarter stuff so I’d wait for at least 2nd or 3rd gen but would be nice to see how this develops. It does looks amazingly practical and versatile despite the sloooww cut times
I think first delivery is scheduled for Sept 2017.
