# Trying to book laser space

I would love to book the Trotec Laser space for Friday 9th Oct, but I can not access Space booking. Most likely, as a computer immigrant (old), I’m doing something wrong!

When I enter ‘Space booking’ into the category field (only Discussion is visible), I get ‘No matches found.’ I have tried on my computer and phone, to no avail.

If anyone knows the magic answer, please let me know. Thanks Kath

Hello,

Your screenshot shows you typed in “spacebooking.” For the purpose of this, `space` and `bookings` are two separate words.

See the screenshot here:

When you click this, your text box will auto-fill with the booking template and you enter what thing you wish to book.

If you are not a shutter access member your booking will depend on someone having opened the space for you to use it.

Sorry, that was a screenshot of a variation on everything under the sun I tried, including ‘space booking’ but all with the same result.

If I am not a shutter access member but am paying monthly, should I still be able to book?

Hi

People with shutter access can make bookings.  
People without shutter access can only edit existing bookings to enter their name and time for a tool.

Thanks Brendon. That helps, I think.

So I cannot access or book through ‘space booking’ in essence.

I just turn up at the space, provided a keyholder is there to access.
