The bins!!!

For one reason or another these haven’t been taken out for a few weeks now, to the point where it’s a big job, probably too much to ask of the open evening host.

So: if anyone in the space today could deal with a couple of bags each from what Elon Musk might call the giga-pile out front then it should make small work of it.

Details:

The green wheelie bin and all the First Mile bags need to be put just inside the main estate gates on the right. Our agreement is to have them there before 8pm. Check that the bags are tied closed.

I went down to fix the clock but also do the bins, Connor helped. A lot of them are over 5KG by a fair wack

@pip do you know where the remote control that was on the roof of the toilet got moved to when you guys fitted those pipes up there, that is the only way to set the clock’s time and it was exactly where those pipes are, so it makes me think it might have been moved when you were working on that.

Racking my brain trying to remember, probable it got moved by me and @nico.dejong.nz but can’t for the life of me remember where… Sorry. If you didn’t get a chance to next time I’m down I’m happy to grab a ladder and look around on top of the toilet and so on. Looks like a small remote? Picture?

Ah, there was a small remote, I remember seeing it on one of the Make the Space Saturdays. No one knew what it could be for.

Please can we have a look for it, I had a quick look but the clock is unusable if thats been lost.

I suppose we could buy a second clock for the messy room (and subsequently the 2nd arch/space/etc) and use the one remote for both clocks?

Perhaps, although maybe Pip/Conor could collaborate on finding the remote, it was left in a sensible place.

i think i remember the control but dont know where it is, prob somewhere in phase one.
maybe ask the other people who were doing big cleans if they saw it

conor does not have any specific responsibility regarding remote, but can help whoever is looking, if he has time.
Maybe the people who did the last big rearrangement?! of phase one can help

A label could have prevented this. A random, generic-looking remote is all I saw. Couldn’t figure out what it might be for.

I’ll have a look when I’m in. If someone has a memory of it going out, then that would save wasted time looking for it.

maybe getting a clock that can be set by more means then a small remote, (wifi, manually) would be a step up

Would suggest putting in a draw next time. In a marked envelope. Or equivalent.

Unfortunately the directors wouldn’t even pay for the clock and still haven’t so I very much doubt they’ll buy and fancy Wi-Fi clocks.
