One of my favourite books, ‘Aramis, or the love of technology’ - which at its simplest is a a holistic look at urban transport - gets more interesting as it gets more out of date. Fascinating to see this all play out.
That’s the one. It’s not for everybody, but it’s a beautiful, beautiful book.
In my recent efforts to pull away from complete knackered burn-out I found the time to read this biography of Elon Musk:
First book I’ve read for about 2 years.
An engaging, but not that deep, portrait of a man on a quest, against the backdrop of a Silicon Valley that had promised so much, but ended up giving us Facebook and smartphones whilst avoiding the big big issues.
