I signed up to the forum with one email address and used another to join, oops. How can I fix this?
I’ve checked my account here and I can’t seem to edit the email address. Otherwise, can I change my email address for membership or can someone manually do it when I get approved?
Also, how do I set things to get notifications when I have a reply to a thread?
I’m sure some one will be here shortly to fully answer your question. In the mean time just so you know its the sort of thing that I do… currently i’m trying to undo auto login.
It doesn’t really matter if you have different emails for each part. When we get round to tieing the two together, there will be a link in the database.
You should get email notifications automatically for threads you’re watching. It automatically watches threads that you reply to or spend time reading, but there’s a drop-down at the bottom of each thread so you can do it manually if you like. Note that if you active on the site, you won’t get an email, just a notification at the top of the screen.
So I’ve had a new username made for the email address that I signed up my membership account with. Can we please get rid of it so I have just this account that I’m posting with active? @Rogerx3 can you help?
I barely can manage the forum as is… if I have two accounts with different usernames and conversations going I don’t think I will be able to keep up lol!
The notifications of replies to threads has been going to another folder so I have sorted that, thanks.
