Table of Doom

Meet the Table of Doom!
(Unnecessarily dramatic)

Stuff that’s on its way out or up for debate will be put on here and labeled.

If we can get anything out the snug it will mean more space for useful stuff and less stuff cluttering the general areas.

If your names on something pls try to find it a better home or arrange eBay or free cycle Or make a case for it staying.

@Stuart do you want this turntable?

I’ll take the Hilti away…might try fixing it first, but haven’t found the time in the last year or so…

As much as I really wanted to hack the turn table, I really don’t think I will be able to anytime soon.

Please can you put the Netgear switch back in the snug with @systems stuff, where it was.

if we need it yes.
Do we need it?

Ok. Then I think we should get rid of it.
If that’s ok? Or your welcome to store it at home?

Yea, I won’t use it.

Thanks for getting the ball rolling!
Cool.

I am away for the next couple of days so I have gone to the space and removed it from the pile, and labeled all the @systems stuff I could see, but as a general rule:

Systems
Anything that is networking, or computer related, i.e. Network switches, cables, tools, and computers, periferals, and accessories, or RAM or HDD parts should be presumed to be @systems stuff and I will be going through and purging this stuff when the layout of all the areas is complete and we know what we need. However this will be a few months yet as construction has yet to finish

Electronics
Any electrical measurement devices, tools, components, or lengths of low voltage wire, LED strips, etc… should be presumed to be @electrotechs stuff and when @courty is back from holiday and we both have a chance we will be sorting through what we are going to keep and chuck. In the meantime please gather this stuff together and we will sort it when he and I have a chance to.

If you are unsure about something DM @systems or @electrotechs and ask. Until we have a system in place to label Makerspace property it seems unwise to be setting up a 3 week bin system.

It’s not the biggest item. There’s space for it for a while if you want it snugged?

Hi Tom – I put the blue netgear switch in the snug next to other boxes marked systems. All best, J. @unknowndomain

Thanks

Bunch of PCs and network switch gear on clear table with @systems on it. Taking up a lot of space to no obvious purpose.

I’ll move it, but need to know where.

Snug. I’m not sure why they were moved there.

Ah, they were in messy, and got moved due to works in there. I’ve now snugged them.

Do we want these wellies???

Yes. They’re part of Makerspace costume and I’m willing to bet if we ever do anything serious at EMF or some such then they’ll be a big part of it.

Ok :blush::blush::blush: I never new!! :laughing::laughing:

There are three pairs. Do we need all three pairs?
(Asking rather than trying to haggle)

Two “work mates”??

One yellow site lamps??
