Opportunity to take on Ludham Workshops in Camden

CAMDEN IS LOOKING FOR A PROVIDER TO RUN LUDHAM WORKSHOPS

The space includes workshop benches and a few partitioned modular offices, and would be ideal for a makerspace or for artists’ studios.

The space was previously a local construction skills centre, located in a former underused car park. It has D1 planning use but could be changed to B1 fairly easily.

It is offered on a 5 year lease at competitive rents. Further details of the opportunity can be found here (pdf).

Any interested parties should contact Laurence.Robotham@camden.gov.uk in the property services team as soon as possible and by Wednesday 18 January 2017.

Kate Gibbs (Kate.Gibbs@camden.gov.uk 020 7974 8549), Business Growth and Partnerships Manager is happy to discuss the space and act as a point of contact

is hackspace losing its current lease? anyone know any members email add there that might be interested?

The pdf link don’t work

4 grand a month though. Would need at least 250-300 members straight off the bat to break even…

How bout this for the PDF?

Which LHS have, might be a good solution for them. I personally wouldn’t have the time or energy to help run a makerspace that far away.

yep. my personal opinion is we should stick to winning the hearts and minds of those daun sauf
