South London Makerspace “Jobs Page” Manager Wanted
Introduction
We are looking for one of our members to volunteer to set up, manage and review the new SLMS “Jobs Page”.
In brief this is a jobs page to advertise roles and tasks to the wider membership so we can get as many members contributing to the space as possible.
We already have a [hidden for the time being] Wordpress Plugin set up on our main website which would require a little configuration. We also have a new Project Management tool called ClickUp which could be used to list jobs and “assign” members to them.
Here’s a full description of what the Jobs Page is and most of the feedback we have had so far:
Brief outline of the role
This is a summary of the task we would like you to do:
- Collate the feedback we have so far, gather more if needed and add your own ideas.
- Produce a spec outlining what the goals and requirements are
- Have the spec ‘approved’ by members/directors
- Get to grips with the Wordpress Jobs Page Plugin that’s already been set up, and/or ClickUp
- Work with the system admins to perform any necessary configuration
- Produce user documentation so other people can use the system.
- Beta Test
- Review
- Go Live
- Review
How To Apply
If you would like to volunteer for this role please DM the Directors and me (boldaslove) describing in brief your previous experience in the following areas:
- Project Management and or running small admin projects
- Wordpress and ClickUp (experience useful but not required!)
- Producing User Documentation
- Please also let us know how much time you would be able to commit over the next few months
