Shutter not working 23/02/2018 - FIXED

Hi Admin
My shutter hob is not working this morning. It was functional early this week, so I’m not sure if that’s the problem of my hob or the shutter itself.

Would b good if someone can check for both possibilities.

Everything looks correct at the membership side of things, so this might be a shutter issue…

The shutter is broken in some fashion.

Has anybody managed to get access to the space? Or is the shutter broken? Was hoping to pop in this afternoon if possible?

Here and tested - not working still.

Have opened up the box and it’s reading the fob (green light flashes) but motor not engaging.

Two members here waiting to get in.

How technical do you feel? I can help you to do some more troubleshooting from outside the space. Requires using terminal on your laptop.

But even if you do that basically at this stage it will need to be manually wound up, so someone with tools in a van, a ladder and experience working with taking the shutter apart needs to do this.

Can you explain what you did / what happened?

I made a winding tool and wound up the shutter. @jonathanjo is on site also and reset the electrical side and appears to be working.

Will leave to him to explain electrical malarkey
